Emergency Care
Our doctors are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are always ready for emergencies by calling our office at (407) 843-2130, or alternatively, if you visit an emergency room, the emergency room physician will call us to direct orthopaedic care.

First Office Visit

If this will be you first visit to our office, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out the appropriate forms. Please sign in at the reception desk and have a seat. Please give thought to your medical history, and make any necessary notes to bring with you to the doctor's office. We advise that you bring any x-rays, MRI films, and CAT scans that have been performed previously to avoid duplication of studies.

Prescriptions and Refills

Prescriptions must be requested during office hours. When you call please have your prescription refill number ready (it is on the medication label), the name of the patient, and the telephone number of the pharmacy. Please allow 24 hours for approval and filling by the pharmacist. Prescriptions cannot be renewed after office hours. All medication requests will be processed between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Insurance and Insurance Forms

Please remember that insurance is considered a method for reimbursing the patient for fees paid the doctor and is not a substitute for payment. Some companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible amount, coinsurance, or any other balance not paid by your insurance company. When questions on insurance matters arise, please call our business office staff between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at (407) 843-3128 (our business line). They will be happy to help you receive maximum benefits; however, the agreement by the insurance company to pay for your medical care is a contract between you and your insurance company.
